Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Specialize in planning activities to leads and creates effective scheduling actions to meet quarterly production goals.
  • Manages order pull in / push outs including capacity and material constraint analysis.
  • Actively involve and maintains SAP work order release schedule that provides material on-time to manufacturing and engineering.
  • Works with buyers/planners to manage material affected by material shortages.
  • Reviews and ensures proper disposition of Engineering Change Orders (ECO's).
  • Collaborates with teams to develop and improve performance metrics. Ensures consistent processes across different business areas.
  • Develops new procedures and solutions as needed. Presents new ideas and initiatives to improve operations.
  • Data analysis and forecasting – May lead in project teams as subject matter expert to design and develop program methods to consolidate and analyze structured and unstructured, diverse "big data" sources. Performs ad-hoc statistical and data-mining analysis. Create visualization using Tableau.
  • Act as training Focal - Certifies planning community on planning process; acts as trainer for Learning Labs.
