Job summary

A leading power generation company is seeking a Mechanical Engineer for a long-term renewable role in Tuas South. Responsibilities include maintaining the departmental maintenance schedule, developing work plans, and conducting inventory management. Candidates should have extensive experience in the power, refinery, or petrochemical industries and be proficient in organizing maintenance tasks.

Qualifications

• At least 3 to 5 years' experience in Turnaround/Maintenance or Project work.
• 5 to 10 years' experience in Maintenance/Turnaround in Power Plant, Refinery or Petrochemical Plant.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and maintaining the planned maintenance master schedule.
• Developing preventive maintenance work plan and associated documents.
• Reviewing work orders to identify repetitive defects.

Duration: 12 months, long term renewable employment

Working Location: Tuas South (Transport will be provided at Jurong East or Choa Chu Kang MRT)

Working hours: 8.15am to 5.30pm (Monday to Friday)

Job Responsibilities

· Preparing, optimizing, updating and maintaining the departmental planned maintenance master schedule

· Developing/ update departmental preventive maintenance work plan including works procedure, Risk Assessment, Bill of material, method statement, start-up check list, isolation list, work schedule, etc

· Preparation of plant equipment data master list

· Review/ tract departmental work order to identify repetitive defects

· Maintenance of departmental inventory to prevent overstocking or out of stock occurrence

· Planning of schedule maintenance

· Preparing progress report of the schedule maintenance

· Assist in departmental purchasing/ contracting works

Job Requirements

· Degree in Mechanical Engineering with at least 3 to 5 years' experience in Turnaround/ Maintenance or Project work or 5 to 10 years' in Maintenance/ Turnaround experience in Power Plant, Refinery or Petrochemical Plant

· Competent in organizing/ preparing work scope and work method statement

· Good in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
