Job description

The incumbent reports to the Supply Chain Manager and will be responsible for production planning and supervising a store.

Job Responsibilities:

Planner

· Responsible for planning manufacturing activities.

· Analyse manufacturing capacity and plan production schedule.

· Coordinate with departments to acquire manufacturing resources for production.

· Manage open work orders and chair meetings to update production forecasts, schedules, work-in-progress, shipments and cost plans.

· Verify Bill of Materials (BOM), materials, products and work processes to ensure conformity to the required standards and specifications.

· Manage inventory level according to forecasts, order release and delivery plans

· Supervise a store and ensure that workers comply with safety regulations.

· Work with the logistics and shipment team on shipment-related arrangements

· Prepare management reports.

· Participate in efficiency improvement plans.

· Any other duties to be assigned by the superior.

Requirements:

· A diploma or bachelor’s degree in any discipline with 1 - 2 years of related work experience in the medical device contract manufacturing industry.

· Experienced in Master Production Scheduling (MPS), which includes plan development, resource deployment and delivery.

· An advanced-level user of MS Excel and SAP

· Experienced in Medical Device Directive (MDD), ISO 13485, FDA design controls or similar regulatory requirements.

· Good communication, presentation, analytical, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
