Job summary

Applied Materials in Singapore is seeking a dedicated manufacturing planner for a Full-time Assignee role. You will coordinate high-complexity line scheduling, align with business demands, and drive manufacturing KPIs.

You will serve as the main contact to Product Support and R&D teams, plan field activities, and ensure capacity and tool configuration and retrofit projects are managed effectively.

• Demonstrates expanded conceptual knowledge in own discipline and broadens capabilities.
• Understands key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work.
• No supervisory responsibilities but provides informal guidance to new team members.
• Solves problems in straightforward situations; analyzes possible solutions using technical experience and judgment and precedents.
• Explains complex information to others in straightforward situations.

Responsibilities

• Plan and control high complexity manufacturing multiple line scheduling, considering business demands, manufacturing & material constrains.
• Responsible for line OTD.
• Own tool configuration & slotting. Responsible for NPMA (Non Pure Manufacturing Activities) approval and allocation.
• Responsible for efficient line design in terms of: Responsiveness, Inventory & Linear work load
• Control line's performances while driving for line KPIs improvement: OTD, EOP, CT, SOE
• Control & support manufacturing capacity fulfillment. Manage training period allocation
• Plan Field Support Activities
• Be main contact to Product Support teams.
• Plan Mfg. activities at the field
• Determine manufacturing needed capacity
• Manage retrofit projects
• Plan Home Tools support activities
• Manage R&D needs
• Be main contact to R&D teams.
• Manage Option build plan cycle
• Plan and conduct manufacturing activities at field sites.
