Qualifications

• Required Bachelor’s Degree in Marine Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience as a plan approval engineer in gas carrier projects.
• Experience in site supervision and coordination for newbuilding projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate the review process for LNGCs and VLGCs.
• Evaluate and approve designs and specifications for compliance.
• Provide technical support to stakeholders during design phases.
• Contribute to risk assessments concerning the design of these gas carriers.
• Identify and address design issues, providing recommendations for enhancements and solutions.
• Guide or assist in choosing shipyards and manufacturers, focusing on the client's best interests.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in gas carrier technology and industry best practices.
