Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in business and technical English.
• Experience as a Chief Engineer aboard a gas carrier is preferred.
• Experience as a plan approval engineer for gas carrier projects is preferred.
• Relevant experience in newbuilding site supervision is advantageous.
• Proven experience in plan approval or a similar role in the marine industry.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the plan review process for gas carriers.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance throughout the design process.
• Evaluate and approve designs, plans, drawings, and technical specifications.
• Participate in risk assessment activities related to gas carriers.
• Identify and resolve potential design issues with recommendations.
• Lead or participate in the selection of shipyards and makers.
• Stay informed about advancements in gas carrier technologies.
