Job description

• Responsible for overseeing the installation, maintenance, and repair of piping systems within the pharmaceutical manufacturing facility. This includes ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and project specifications.
• Managing and coordinating the work of piping technicians and other relevant personnel.
• Overseeing the fabrication and installation of piping systems according to engineering drawings, specifications, and relevant standards (e.g., ASME, ASTM).
• Ensuring the proper functioning of piping systems through regular maintenance and timely repairs.
• Conducting inspections to ensure that all work is completed to the required quality standards and complies with safety regulations.
• Implementing and enforcing safety procedures related to piping work, including isolation of systems for maintenance or troubleshooting.
• Managing resources (personnel, materials, equipment) to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Maintaining accurate records of work performed, inspections conducted, and materials used.
• Effectively communicating with other departments, contractors, and stakeholders regarding project progress, issues, and requirements.
• Identifying and resolving issues related to piping systems, including those arising during plant startup, shutdown, or grade changes.
• Expereince in piping engineering, including experience in design, fabrication, and installation.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Familiarity with relevant industry standards (ASME, ASTM, etc.), 3D model review (Navisworks, SPR), and basic AutoCAD/AP3D/S3D.
