Job description

Our client is a respected Senior Care Centre committed to supporting the health and well-being of older adults through personalised and integrated care. As part of their continued growth, they are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Junior Physiotherapist to join their team and support clients in maintaining mobility, independence, and quality of life.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver physiotherapy services for day care clients.
  • Carry out initial and periodic assessments upon admission and during reviews.
  • Develop and implement suitable treatment plans tailored to individual client needs.
  • Collaborate with the care team in case discussions and contribute to individualised care plans (ICP).
  • Organise and lead group therapy sessions and physical activity programmes.
  • Regularly review and refine programme schedules to maintain engagement and effectiveness.
  • Keep thorough and up-to-date records of therapy sessions and client progress.
  • Support clients with dementia, including managing behavioural symptoms with empathy and understanding.
  • Build strong, respectful relationships with clients, caregivers, and families.
  • Perform any additional duties assigned by the Centre Manager as needed.

Requirements:

  • Degree or Diploma in Physiotherapy.
  • Fully registered with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC).
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience, ideally in a hospital, eldercare, or community setting.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Warm, patient-centered attitude and genuine interest in eldercare.
