The NTU Chinese Medicine Clinic, part of the School of Biological Sciences (SBS) in the College of Science, was established in 2009 with a mission to:
- Educate a new generation of university-trained and well-informed Chinese Medicine Physicians,
- Promote modernized Chinese Medicine through integration with Biomedical Sciences, and
- Advance research and development in Life Sciences and integrative medicine.

We invite passionate and dedicated candidates to join our dynamic team at NTU’s Chinese Medicine Programme and Clinic. Our mission is to nurture outstanding Chinese Medicine graduates in clinical practice, academia, and research through our Double Degree Programme in Biomedical Sciences/Chinese Medicine and the Bachelor of Chinese Medicine Programme. We aim to advance and promote Chinese Medicine in Singapore.
Key Responsibilities:
- General Clinic duties including patient consultation and treatment, dispensary works, customer services, after a period of training at the NTU Chinese Medicine Clinic (applicable to Singapore Registered Chinese Medicine Practitioner);
- Teaching duties and management of courses and internship for undergraduate students, as well as the Renaturation Programme for Year 5 students;
- Support the administration of the Double Degree Programme in Biomedical Sciences/Chinese Medicine and the Bachelor of Chinese Medicine Programme.
- Conduct public education initiatives on Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) through talks and community events.
- Undertake additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements:
- A TCMPB-recognized Bachelor’s degree in Chinese Medicine. Candidates with postgraduate qualifications in TCM are encouraged to apply.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written) in both Chinese and English.
- Dynamic team player with a strong sense of commitment.
- Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing environments.
- Proactive and willing to take on new challenges.
- Proficiency in computer and office operations.
- Knowledge of data analysis is advantageous.
- Excellent planning and organizational skills.
- High level of discretion and integrity.
- Meticulous in patient care and documentation management.
- Enthusiastic about outreach and community engagement.
