Physical Oil Trader

We are seeking an experienced Physical Oil Trader – Refined Products to join our client whom is an international trading firm with assets in the Middle East and offices in Singapore, Middle East and China. The successful candidate will be responsible for trading refined petroleum products across the GCC, East Africa, and Asia markets.

- Develop and execute physical trading strategies for refined products, maximizing profitability while managing risk.

- Source and market cargoes within the region and globally, leveraging upstream and downstream assets - focusing both on system and 3rd party trading.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with counterparties, including NOCs, IOCs, traders, refineries, and shipping partners.

- Conduct market analysis and identify trading opportunities based on supply-demand fundamentals, arbitrage, and pricing trends.

- Collaborate closely with internal teams: operations, shipping, finance, and risk management to ensure seamless trade execution.

- Monitor and manage exposure, P&L, and trading book performance in line with corporate risk policies.

Requirements:

- Minimum 10years of experience trading refined petroleum products in the Middle East, preferably with an oil major, trading house, or NOC.

- Strong product trading experience in Light or Heavy Distillates

- Proven track record of delivering trading profitability.

- Could offer relocation to Dubai or Singapore
