Job summary
A leading healthcare institution in Singapore is seeking a Phlebotomist. Responsibilities include collecting and dispatching specimens to the Pathology laboratory and performing point of care testing and ECGs in the Emergency Department. Candidates must possess a recognized Certificate in Phlebotomy and be able to work rotating shifts, including weekends and Public Holidays.
Qualifications
- Ability to work in an Emergency Department setting with 2-rotating shifts, weekends, and Public Holidays.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the collection, handling and dispatching of specimens to the Pathology laboratory.
- Conduct specified POCT and perform Electrocardiogram (ECG) in the Emergency Department.

Responsibilities
- The phlebotomist is responsible for the collection, handling and dispatching of specimens to Pathology laboratory from patients as ordered by the clinicians.
- The incumbent shall also conduct specified list of POCT (Point of Care Testing) and perform Electrocardiogram (ECG) in Emergency Department (ED) as assigned.
Qualifications
- The incumbent must be able to work in Emergency Department setting with 2-rotating shifts, weekends, and Public Holidays.
- The incumbent must have a recognised Certificate in Phlebotomy.
