Job summary

A Bioinformatician position at the IMCB Cell Fate and Therapeutics Laboratory, part of A*STAR, is available immediately. The role focuses on dissecting regulatory switches in cell fate determination across health and disease, while developing tools for therapeutic cell derivation.

The candidate will engage in interdisciplinary collaborations, employ open-source bioinformatics pipelines, and contribute to advancing sequencing data analyses for Spatial-seq, ChIP-seq, and transcriptomics.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. from a well-recognized institution with a strong research background in Bioinformatics/Computer science/Biostatistics or equivalent.
• Experience in bioinformatics and data analysis for Spatial-seq, ChIP-seq, Transcriptomics and Single-cell analytics
• Experience with open-source bioinformatics tools
• Excellent analytical, technical and problem-solving skills
• Self-starter who is comfortable working in a fast moving interdisciplinary team
