Job summary

National University Health System NUHS@Home is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support dispensing workflows, tele-consult counseling, and stock management for home-based patient care in Singapore.

You will assist the pharmacist with medication orders, ensure accurate packing and labeling, monitor stock levels, and help maintain service quality while occasionally traveling to remote sites west of NUH.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Pharmaceutical Science and relevant experience.
• Able to work staggered shift duties.
• Willing to travel to remote NUH/NUHS sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist in processing of medication orders for dispensing including typing, packing, labeling and distribution of drug supplies.
• Perform billing functions and ensure cost and revenue of all stocks supplied are recovered, if required.
• Counsel medicines under the supervision of a pharmacist over tele-consult
• Monitor and maintain inventory stock level of drugs in the areas of work
• Receive, unpack and check deliveries against the appropriate documents to ensure items supplied are correct and accounted for
• Perform stock receipts and issues strictly in FIFO order
• Assist in providing quality customer service
• Maintain cleanliness of the work areas and prepare these for daily operations
• Assist in orientating new staff assigned to the section

• Counsel medicines under the supervision of a pharmacist over tele-consult
• Monitor and maintain inventory stock level of drugs in the areas of work

• Perform stock receipts and issues strictly in FIFO order
• Assist in providing quality customer service

Job Requirements:

• May need to travel out of NUH to remote sites in the west
