Job description

Location: Kent Ridge

Working hours: Outpatient: 5.25 days, staggered office hours (8:30-17:30 / 9:30-18:30)

Inpatient: 5.25 days (Staggered office hours) + 1 Sunday once a month (will be given a weekday off after)

Duration: 1-year contract, convertible to permanent

Responsibilities:

1. Processing medication orders:

• Picking, packing, and labeling medicines according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
• Performing medication reconciliation steps: counting, sorting, and typing prescriptions
• Performing billing functions

Provision of quality customer service

Inventory Management:

• Review and update inventory levels based on consumption regularly
• Oversee storage conditions, expiry checks, audits, and reporting of defects of drug products within the institution
• Plan and ensure accurate cycle counts and stock takes according to SOP

Sterile and Non-sterile Manufacturing:

• Prepare sterile and non-sterile products
• Assemble medication, supplies, and equipment, and compound products according to procedures
• Ensure double-checking of all products before leaving the laboratory
• Ensure products meet quality control requirements
• Package end products, including affixing auxiliary labels
