Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a continuous improvement mindset to seek opportunities for enhancing quality, productivity, and patient safety care.
  • Assist in prescription processing and supplying medicines to outpatients, inpatients, and other departments such as Laboratory, Radiology, and wards.
  • Pack oral and topical medications.
  • Collect prescription charges from outpatients.
  • Assist Pharmacist in store management.
  • Assist in compiling statistics for reports and surveys.
  • Participate in Quality Improvement or Patient Safety Projects.

Requirements:

  • Pharmacy Assistant: N/O/A Levels (minimum).
  • Pharmacy Technician:
  • Diploma in Pharmaceutical Science or Diploma in Applied Science (Pharmaceutical Science).
  • WSQ Higher Certificate in Healthcare Support (Pharmacy Support) or equivalent.
  • Preferably with experience in a clinic or hospital setting.
  • Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
