Pharmacy Technician

Job Summary:

Salary details: Basic $2,400 - $2,800

Working Days and Hours: 5.5-day work week (8am - 4:30pm)

Location of work: West Region

Job Responsibilities:

The Pharmacy Technician will assist the Pharmacist to prepare and dispense medications.

Operational

· Pack and dispense prescriptions and provide counselling to patients.

Administration & Housekeeping

· Maintain and conduct regular checks on the equipment used in the pharmacy.

· Ensure proper housekeeping and maintain a high standard of hygiene in the pharmacy premises.

Inventory

· Responsible for the Pharmacy stock inventory to ensure optimal stock level.

· Check the expiry and condition of pharmacy stocks.

IT & Automation

· Involve in the repackaging process and conduct quality control checks.

· Monitor IT/Automation equipment to ensure that they are in working condition.

General

· Perform any other duties as assigned by the Reporting Officer.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Pharmacy
• Clinical internship experience will be advantageous
• Registered Pharmacist preferably with at least 1 – 3 years of relevant experience
• Possess excellent customer service skills and has good interpersonal skills.
• Good team player and self-motivated.
