Job summary

A local medical specialists centre in Singapore is looking for a Pharmacy Assistant to assist in dispensing medications, maintain drug inventories, and handle front counter duties. The ideal candidate has a Diploma or Degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience preferred but open to fresh graduates. This role offers a dynamic work environment with 5.5 working days.

• Assist in dispensing medications as prescribed by the doctors under the supervision of the Centre Manager
• In charge of the drug’s inventories by ensuring sufficient drugs are maintained at all times, drugs with near expiry date are exchanged and/or written off and the pharmacy is properly kept and maintained
• Assist Finance department in conducting the monthly inventory count
• Assist in front counter duties including but not limited to processing of patients’ registration, arranging doctors’ schedules, calling of patients to remind them of their appointment, cashiering duties and maintaining patients’ relations generally;
• Raise purchase requisition and purchase order when stock balance reaches reorder level
• Familiarity with the medication available in clinic, and related companies
• Serves as a resource person for knowledge of medication uses, side effects and dosage
• General administrative duties such as filing of patients report etc;
• Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by the Centre Manager or his / her nominee

Requirements
