Job summary

NHG Health in Singapore seeks a Pharmacy Technician to assist in processing prescriptions, including registration, typing, picking, labeling and dispensing, and to screen prescriptions.

You will provide counselling to patients and caregivers, manage drug inventory with stock replenishment and counts, and handle enquiries about medications, services, and workflow in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Pharmaceutical Science (Clinical Track) or its equivalent or GCE A/O/N level with a Certificate in Pharmacy Technician course by Pharmaceutical Society of Singapore.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in processing prescriptions (registration, typing, picking, labeling and dispensing) and screening of prescriptions.
• Provide appropriate counselling and information to patients and caregivers.
• Manage drug inventory (stock replenishment, stock counts and inventory checks).
• Handle enquiries related to medication supplies, drug information, pharmacy services and general patient workflow.
