Job summary

NHG Population Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support daily pharmacy operations and deliver patient-centered care in Singapore. You will assist in dispensing medications, ensuring stock levels, and maintaining safety standards.

The role includes counseling patients, identifying drug interactions, and guiding junior staff. Diploma with PT certification is required, and strong communication with healthcare teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Pharmaceutical Science or GCE 'O' Level with a Certified Pharmacy Technician Certification.
• Good patient relations and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, pack and dispense medications accurately per established standards and guidelines.
• Ensure medications and dispensing consumables are replenished to support smooth workflow.
• Identify basic drug regimens and highlight potential drug interactions to pharmacists or prescribers.
• Promptly escalate operational issues and patient feedback to the Pharmacy Executive or Pharmacists.
• Provide targeted counselling to improve medication adherence and therapeutic outcomes.
• Supervise and provide training to new pharmacy technicians/assistants.
• Assist pharmacists in simple projects.
