Job summary

Institute of Mental Health (IMH) in Singapore seeks a Pharmacy Technician to join the Pharmacy department. You will support pharmacists in dispensing medications, counselling patients, preparing unit-dose packs, processing orders and managing inventory to ensure safe drug distribution across the hospital.

The role requires a Diploma in Pharmacy Science or a related qualification, plus a compulsory Certified Pharmacy Technician Course if applicable, and the ability to work shifts including

Qualifications

• Diploma in Pharmacy Science or Pharmaceutical Sciences required.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician Course completed if Diploma is in non-related discipline.
• Good organisation and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to work shifts and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide a broad range of pharmacy services under supervision of pharmacists, including dispensing, counselling, unit dose packing, order processing and distribution, and inventory management.
• Ensure safe, efficient and timely distribution of drugs in IMH according to procedures.

We Require Pharmacy Technician To Perform The Following Responsibilities

You will be involved in providing a broad range of pharmacy services under the supervision of pharmacists to ensure the safe, efficient and timely distribution of drugs in IMH. These services include medication dispensing, medication counselling, unit dose packing, medication order processing and distribution and inventory management in accordance with departmental guidelines and standard operating procedures.

Educational And Professional Requirements

• Diploma in Pharmacy Science or Pharmaceutical Sciences; for diploma holders in non-related disciplines, you must have undergone a one-year Certified Pharmacy Technician Course organized by Pharmaceutical Society of Singapore
