Pharmacy Retail Associate, NUHS Pharmacy(5716)

The Pharmacy Retail Associate will provide quality customer service and assist the retail supervisor in ensuring smooth operations in the retail pharmacy.
Job Responsibilities
1. Operational

1. Ensure that the store is opened punctually and computer systems are user-ready.
2. Monitor the queue and actively respond to reduce the waiting time of patients.
3. Ensure that the float is ready and prepared on time.
4. Actively promote weekly specials and practice plus-selling.
5. Operate cash register and handle cash in the pharmacy.
6. Ensure good housekeeping at retail trading, storage areas, and at retail shop floor.
7. Maintain store security (e.g., stocks, premise, and stored information) at all times.
8. Maintain proper records and maintenance of the equipment used in the pharmacy.
9. Monitor stock levels and replenish stocks in the pharmacy.
10. Maintain condition of stock to ensure all stocks are under appropriate conditions and in good saleable condition.
11. Perform goods receipts and handle inter-branch transfers and error reports.
12. Assist in cycle counts and stock takes.

2. Administration

1. Maintain proper daily sales records.
2. Perform data entries into inventory system – SAP.
3. Assist in compiling information and filing of retail documents in a neat and organized manner.
4. Assist to generate monthly reports for analysis/checks.

3. Staff Training and Development

1. Assist to coach and orientate new staff on retail workflows and pharmacy activities.
2. Assist to conduct briefing for promoters.

4. General

1. Perform any other duties as assigned by the Reporting Officer.
2. Involve in workplace improvement projects/activities as and when required.

Job Requirements:

1. GCE N or O level qualification.
2. 2 - 3 years of relevant experience required.
3. Excellent service-oriented and has good interpersonal skills.
4. Good team player and self-motivated.

Working Hours

5.5 days' work week (non-shift).

Work Location

National University Polyclinics (NUP) - West Region.
