Role Purpose

Support the Head of Pharmacy in:

• Executing the overall pharmacy strategy, priorities and plans

• Building and managing a team of pharmacists within a cluster to grow professionally and to attain sales, profitability and inventory targets to achieve overall business goals

• Providing guidance to the team on upholding professional standards and maintaining good dispensing and ethical pharmacy practice

Responsibilities

Sales Management

• Manage a team of pharmacists to achieve overall store and healthcare sales against targets

• Plan and coach pharmacists on sales performance and derive appropriate action plans for areas of improvement

• Work with business stakeholders to drive sales via proactive feedback on range, promotions, competitor trends, pricing and customer demand

Inventory Management

• Coach and guide pharmacists on proper inventory management (e.g. ordering, receiving, stock take, expiry checks, etc.)

• Monitor and ensure pharmacy inventory at cluster level is within inventory targets

• Review and provide feedback on range of inventory with respect to stores and customer profile

Operations Execution

• Partner with the Operations Team to manage promotional activities execution and provide regular feedback on healthcare, dispensary and customers’ issues with appropriate actions.

• Promote and drive service excellence and uphold operations standards

Team Management

• Manage and coach the team on their work performance, conduct career conversations and facilitate people movement to achieve overall productivity

• Support recruitment and learning initiatives to grow and develop the pharmacy team

Professional Standards

• Manage the team to achieve high standards of dispensary practices with good documentation according to local regulations, HSA and internal audits

• Encourage active participation and guide project team leads involved in various types of patient care activities and campaigns that promote community pharmacy professionalism

About You

• Registered with Singapore Pharmacy Council with minimum 7 years of experience in pharmacy practice and 3 years of supervisory experience in the retail pharmacy industry.

• Possess a valid practicing certificate

• Good interpersonal and people management skills
