A leading retail pharmacy is seeking a Retail Assistant to support the pharmacist, enhance customer satisfaction, and maintain store operations. The ideal candidate will contribute to sales through excellent customer service and teamwork, while also performing inventory management tasks. Candidates must have at least 2 years of retail experience and be proficient in English and Mandarin/Bahasa Indonesia.
Position Overview:
The retail assistant will be part of the team responsible for the Retail Pharmacy business.
You will be supporting the pharmacist to fulfil customers’ needs based on their requirements, achieve sales targets, retain and build new customer base and handle the store operational tasks.
Main Functions & Responsibilities:
Provide good Customer service
Handle cashier duties
Order and replenishment of stocks
Housekeeping and cleanliness of store
Display of merchandise, improve retail sales, carry out promotional activities
Assist Pharmacist in dispensing prescription drugs, recommending medical devices to patients based on their needs and advising on use.
Assist Pharmacist in temperature record, filling of pharmacy documents in accurate order to upkeep standard of pharmacy audit.
Resolve issues, concerns or complaints made by customers
Setting as a good example to Pharmacy Assistants and build good team support
Work retail schedule (shifts, weekends and public holidays) based on roster
Excellent attention to details
Computer literacy in operating POS scanning and using Inventory management systems; working knowledge of Word, Excel and use of email
Requirements:
- Able to converse in both English and Mandarin/ Bahasa Indonesia (in order to liaise with Mandarin/ Bahasa Indonesia speaking associates)
- Minimum Secondary school education
- Customer service oriented
- Good team player
- Minimum 2 years in retail experience
