Job summary

A healthcare provider in Singapore is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant to support reception, patient registration, and customer service activities. Job description

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

(A) SPECIFIC

  • Assist in the reception and patient registration in the pharmacy areas.
  • Perform cashier and billing functions.
  • Handle telephone and walk-in enquiries from patients and hospital staff.
  • Assist in providing quality customer service.
  • Maintains the cleanliness of the pharmacy work areas and prepare work areas for daily operations.
  • Supports the hospital by participating actively in the various activities organized by the hospital. Activities include QC, community projects, staff welfare and recreational activities, etc.
  • Other duties as directed by the supervisors.

(B) GENERAL

  • Assist in processing of medication orders for inpatient and outpatient dispensing and supplies.
  • Receive, unpack and check stocks against the appropriate documents, to ensure that items supplies are correct and accounted for.
  • Perform medication repackaging as part of pharmacy automation system in accordance with repackaging procedures.
  • Assist in monitoring and maintaining inventory of stocks in the areas of work such as replenishing of stock in the pharmacy.
  • Able to provide advice on the products kept in pharmacy.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
