A healthcare institution in Singapore is seeking a qualified pharmacist to review medication prescriptions, dispense medications, and ensure compliance with legal requirements. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and has 1-2 years of relevant experience in a public healthcare setting. Responsibilities also include training pharmacy students and participating in hospital activities.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
(A) SPECIFIC (80%)
(B) GENERAL (20%)
1. Actively participate in Pharmacy education and development programmes.
i. Provide lectures to Pharmacy staff and other hospital employees on pertinent topics.
ii. Practices continued reading of journals, publications, etc for professional advancement.
2. Responsible for the implementation and adherence to policies, practices and regulations established by the department, hospital and external regulatory agencies pertaining to pharmacy.
3. Provide relevant training to pre-registration pharmacists and pharmacy students.
4. Support the hospital by participating actively in the various activities organized by the hospital. Activities include QC, community projects, staff welfare and recreational activities and etc.
