Pharmacist (Informatics)

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacist (Informatics) to join our team. This role supports the existing Electronic Medical Record (EMR) Systems and Pharmacy Systems to facilitate safe and efficient pharmacy practices. You will be part of a dynamic team optimizing work processes and enhancing system functionalities to improve patient care.

Key Responsibilities

1. Support existing EMR and Pharmacy Systems, ensuring timely updates and system optimizations.
2. Train healthcare professionals on the safe and effective use of EMR and Pharmacy systems.
3. Troubleshoot and evaluate system issues, collaborating with the System Support team and Pharmacy Users.
4. Lead/support the adoption of National Systems, including NGEMR, NHIPS, and NBS, ensuring seamless implementation.
5. Co-lead/support the implementation and maintenance of Pharmacy automation systems.
6. Foster communication within the Informatics and Pharmacy teams, and support department objectives and regulations.
7. Conduct staff development programs and ensure quality processes in system maintenance.

Requirements

1. Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy.
2. Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications.
3. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
4. Analytical with attention to detail and accuracy.
5. Good understanding of pharmacy workflows.
6. At least 1 year of experience in Inpatient or Outpatient Pharmacy practice is preferred.
7. A team player, self-motivated, and open to learning new skills in Informatics Pharmacy.
