Job summary

RECRUIT EXPRESS PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking a Cost Accountant for a pharma MNC on a contract to support the finance team in managing manufacturing cost accounting, inventory and costing activities for Singapore operations.

Based in Marsiling, the role covers cost rolls for new product launches, variances review, E&O analysis and month-end closing, with close collaboration with the warehouse team on cycle counts and ad hoc finance projects.

Responsibilities

• Support cost accounting activities for Singapore manufacturing operations
• Perform cost rolls for new product launches and product transfers
• Participate in the annual cost roll process
• Review and support correction of work order variances and purchase price variances
• Support scrap review and reclassification activities
• Assist with inventory management and month-end costing/inventory closing
• Prepare Excess & Obsolete (E&O) inventory analysis and support E&O management
• Work closely with the warehouse team on the Cycle Count Program, including witnessing cycle counts and approving cycle count sheets
• Support ad hoc data analysis and finance projects
