Job description

Four Paws is an up-and-coming pet shop cum pet café with premium services on pet grooming and pet animals. We aim to provide the best quality care to all our pet clients with our exceptional pet grooming and handling skills. We handle all our client’s pets with love and patience.

We welcome pet groomers who can deliver great skills and excellent attitudes, but also team players that will support each other.

Objectives of this Role

• Deliver excellent customer service to pet owners by delivering clients’ requests, communicating clearly and honestly, and bringing a positive attitude to work each day
• Provide exemplary cosmetic care for pets, being gentle and patient with anxious and difficult animals
• Protect the best interest of our clients and their pets, notifying owners of any concerns, including skin abnormalities, ear infections, ticks, and fleas
• Help our organization continue to grow by forming fruitful relationships with our clients in a long-term relationship

Daily Responsibilities

• Clean and freshen pets’ hair by washing, shampooing, and conditioning it
• Shave, trim, and style pets’ hair according to owners’ preferences
• Maintain overall pet hygiene by clipping nails, cleaning ears, and other standard procedures
• Keep a clean workstation by sanitizing and sweeping before the arrival of each new client and cleaning up the grooming area at the end of each workday
• Advise owners on at-home care tips and best practices for their pets
• Provide training to grooming assistants
• Potentially conduct mini grooming workshops for pet owners
