Job summary

A leading company in Singapore is seeking a Finance and Administrative Specialist to handle accounts payable, financial reporting, and office management. Job description

Responsibilities:

Financial and Management Accounting

  • Record and process accounts payable (AP) invoices in the accounting system, ensuring all transactions are supported by proper approvals and documentation.

  • Handle timely payments to suppliers in accordance with company policies.

  • Provide input for monthly cash flow forecasts to support effective cash management.

  • Monitor and manage the accounts payable aging report to ensure timely settlements.

  • Prepare journal entries and support the development of audit schedules.

  • Perform month-end closing activities and reconciliations.

  • Coordinate with both internal and external auditors on matters related to the annual audit.

Administrative

  • Oversee and manage day-to-day administrative functions to ensure a well-maintained and efficient office environment.

  • Manage office supplies and equipment, including liaison with vendors and service providers.

  • Process invoices related to office operations and services.

  • Assist in the planning and coordination of company events, meetings, and conferences.

Period: Permanent

Location:Changi

Working Hours:Monday to Friday,8.30am to 6pm

Salary:up to $4500 (depending on experience)

Requirements:

  • Possess at least a Diploma or equivalent professional qualification in Finance or Accountancy.

  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting functions.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with basic Microsoft Office applications.

  • Demonstrates strong attention to detail and an analytical mindset.

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Prior experience with SAP or other accounting systems will be an added advantage.
