Job summary

A leading resource centre in Singapore is seeking a candidate for a permanent role focusing on credit and accounts receivable management. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of relevant experience and strong communication skills to effectively liaise with customers. They will manage various tasks including credit reviews, customer applications, and payment follow-ups. This position offers a salary range of $3,500 – $4,000 with a Monday to Friday work schedule.

Mon–Fri:8.45am – 5.30pm

South (near Labrador MRT station)

Responsibilities
  • Organise and conduct regular credit & AR review meetings with BUs / sales departments to close out delinquent accounts
  • Follow up and communicate with customers on outstanding payments
  • Review and process new customer account applications
  • Maintain and update customer particulars and credit limits in SAP
  • Monitor daily sales transactions for credit holds in SAP and liaise with sales on overdue issues
  • Disseminate invoices, statements of accounts, reminders and confirmation letters
  • Perform customer account reconciliations and confirmations
  • Prepare regular collections and AR status reports for management and HQ
  • Liaise with insurer to apply for trade credit insurance for customer accounts with credit terms
  • Liaise with banks for bank guarantees including letters of credit
  • Verify supporting documents to carry out billings to customers
  • Handle other ad-hoc duties assigned by Senior Financial Controller/Assistant Manager

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years’ relevant working experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • SAP experience preferred but not mandatory
  • Experience with Letters of Credit desirable but not mandatory
  • Strong communication skills to liaise with customers and insurers professionally
  • Ability to prioritise issues, work with urgency, and take ownership of tasks
  • Comfortable collaborating across multiple departments
