A financial consulting firm in Singapore is looking for a professional to implement a regional controlling structure, responsible for budgeting, forecasting, and aligning financial practices. Responsibilities

• Implementation of a regional Controlling structure including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Responsible for local finance divisions and aligning financial practices.
• Setting up standardized KPIs for turnover and profitability development.
• Acting as a commercial coach for local Managing Directors and finance teams.
• Collaborating with strategic sales departments on performance monitoring.
• Supporting consolidation and planning of the regional profit & loss statement.
• Initial setup of management reporting including KPIs.
• Preparing an internal control system to safeguard the company’s assets.
• Ensuring compliance with local regulations and standards.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Implementation of a regional Controlling structure: financial budgeting, forecasting and reporting structures
• Responsible for the local finance divisions and controlling of the regional P&Ls, plannings scenarios, forecast and reportings to ensure consistency and alignment of financial practices and policies
• Set up of group-wide standardized KPIs and transparency about turnover, margins & profitability development with future scenario analysis
• Act as commercial coach and strategic thinker towards the local Managing Directors and Finance teams and supports the strategic planning as well as decision making process
• Collaborate closely with strategic sales departments (market management, product management, etc.) and set up of a performance monitoring
• Supports consolidation and planning of the regional profit & loss statement
• Responsible for the initial set up of reporting to the management including KPIs and trend scenarios
• Prepares an internal control system to safeguard company’s assets and ensure of financial records, arranges regular reviews and status meetings
• Support to ensure compliance with local, states and financial regulations & standards in cooperation with the local financial department
