Job description

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute trades in physical and/or paper (futures, options, swaps) oil markets.

  • Monitor global oil markets to identify trading opportunities and risks.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with counterparties, brokers, and suppliers.

  • Analyze supply-demand fundamentals, geopolitical developments, and market data.

  • Manage exposure and implement hedging strategies to control risk.

  • Maintain accurate and timely records of trades and ensure compliance with regulations.

  • Collaborate with logistics, risk, finance, and operations teams for deal execution.

  • Prepare regular reports on market outlook, trading performance, and P&L.

Qualifications & Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or a related field. Master's is a plus.

  • 5+ years of experience in commodities trading, preferably oil or energy markets.

  • Strong understanding of physical and/or financial oil markets.

  • Excellent analytical, quantitative, and decision-making skills.

  • Proficiency in trading software, Excel, and market analysis tools (e.g., Bloomberg, Reuters).

  • Knowledge of risk management principles and regulatory requirements.
