Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide perioperative care in the Operating Theatre and to support anaesthesia procedures including GA, LA, and regional anaesthesia. The role requires AU OT experience and SNB registration, with ability to work independently within a multidisciplinary OT team.

Responsibilities include equipment preparation, intra-operative support, infection control, documentation, and on-call duties. Singapore-based position with on-site work.

Qualifications

• Valid registration with the Singapore Nursing Board (SNB) as a Registered Nurse.
• Prior experience as an Anaesthesia Unit (AU) Nurse within an Operating Theatre setting is required.
• Competent and able to support GA, LA and Regional Anaesthesia / Sedation independently.
• Good knowledge of perioperative and anaesthesia nursing practices.
• Able to work independently and effectively within the multidisciplinary OT team.

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care and support within the Operating Theatre.
• Assist and independently support anaesthesia procedures including General Anaesthesia (GA), Local Anaesthesia (LA) and Regional Anaesthesia / Sedation.
• Prepare anaesthetic equipment, medications and supplies prior to procedures.
• Assist the anaesthetist during induction, maintenance and recovery from anaesthesia.
• Monitor patients and respond promptly to changes in their clinical condition.
• Ensure proper infection control, patient safety and OT protocols are maintained.
• Maintain accurate nursing documentation and records.
• Participate in on-call duties and other OT nursing responsibilities as required.
