Job summary
Sun Venture is seeking a Data Platform Manager to lead the enterprise risk and portfolio analytics platform. You will own architecture, data models, and end-to-end delivery, working with investment users, custodians, data vendors, and the platform vendor.
You will design and operate automated data pipelines, manage production runs, and translate technical needs into business updates for senior stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Degree in a quantitative field or related experience.
- 6–10 years of technology/data experience in financial services.
- Experience implementing or supporting an enterprise risk or portfolio analytics platform.
- Hands-on experience designing relational data models and analytics data warehouses.
- Proven ability to build and operate automated data pipelines (ETL/ELT, SFTP).
- Familiarity with investment data concepts: holdings, pricing, NAV.
- Understanding of enterprise risk platforms such as Aladdin or BarraOne.
Responsibilities
- Own the overall architecture and design of the Performance and Risk data platform.
- Design, build, operate and improve automated data pipelines from internal systems and data providers.
- Lead the technical delivery of risk platform implementation and go-live.
- Own nightly production, monitoring, releases, and vendor support.
- Act as the technical interface to stakeholders and translate technical issues into business terms.
