Job description

We’re looking for a creative and people-first Learning & Engagement Specialist, to join our People Operations team at Reap.

This role sits at the heart of how we build culture, not through words on a wall, but through intentional experiences that connect, grow, and empower our team. From onboarding spin-ups to offsite events, from internal communications to learning initiatives, you'll lead programs that bring our values to life and shape the daily employee experience.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in a fast-moving environment and loves taking on challenges. You're the kind of person who sees gaps and moves to close them., with a strong sense of ownership and curiosity. You’re a natural connector, skilled at designing meaningful moments across physical and digital workspaces, and passionate about the details that make people feel supported and seen.

Key Responsibilities

Culture & Engagement

  • Design, plan, and run company-wide events and rituals that energize and connect our people, from anniversaries to team offsites, virtual hangouts, and spontaneous celebrations.
  • Build and drive initiatives that foster cross-functional connection, belonging, and engagement, whether you’re bringing remote folks into the fold or amplifying moments for our in-office crew.
  • Own key touchpoints across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, milestone celebrations, and farewell experiences.
  • Launch and manage engagement surveys and pulse checks; interpret feedback and work with stakeholders to take action.

Learning & Development

  • Coordinate learning experiences and resources , from workshops to curated content that support continuous development across teams.
  • Partner with managers to surface team growth needs and implement impactful solutions.
  • Manage Learning and Development tools and platforms
  • Support the evolution of performance and growth frameworks that empower both employees and leaders.

Internal Communications & Experience

  • Collaborate with teams to build and evolve Reap’s internal voice and storytelling culture.
  • Ensure our physical and digital workspaces promote productivity, inclusivity, and a sense of connection.

Qualifications
  • 3–5+ years of experience in Learning & Development, People Experience, Internal Comms, or HR within fast-paced or startup environments.
  • Strong track record of designing and executing employee engagement programs, L&D initiatives, and internal events.
  • A creative and empathetic approach to experience design. You care deeply about how things feel and flow for people.
  • Strong project management skills; you’re confident running multiple programs and communicating timelines clearly.
  • Comfortable navigating tools like Notion, Google Workspace, Slack, and survey platforms.
  • Fluent in English
  • A proactive mindset with a bias for action. You’re energized by connecting people, solving problems, and creating meaningful experiences.
  • Self-Starter
