As a People Ops Coordinator in this remote role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining smooth and efficient people processes within the organization. You will be a blend of a People Ops specialist, team cheerleader, and an organized chaos wrangler. Your primary responsibilities will revolve around ensuring that our hiring flow remains organized, assisting with scheduling, and providing support to hiring managers in a way that keeps them sane.Furthermore, you will be instrumental in creating a warm and welcoming onboarding experience for new hires, which includes managing forms, documents, welcome kits, and checklists. You will act as the go-to person for all things people-related, such as birthdays, buddy calls, leave tracking, and general assistance with various inquiries and tasks.In addition, you will be responsible for maintaining and updating employee information, contracts, and files to ensure everything remains organized and easily accessible. You will also contribute to building internal resources like FAQs, templates, feedback forms, culture documents, and onboarding kits. Your involvement in enhancing the overall employee experience through team dynamics, performance check-ins, and celebrating milestones like birthdays and anniversaries will be crucial.Proficiency in utilizing tools such as Notion, Typeform, Discord, Google Sheets, or suggesting better alternatives is essential for this role. Your ability to juggle multiple responsibilities, generate innovative ideas, and see them through execution is highly valued.To excel in this position, you should have at least 1 year of experience in a People Ops role and demonstrate a balance between appreciating structure and embracing chaos. Effective communication skills, both in creating clear documentation and delivering kind messages via Slack, will be key. Documenting your thoughts and being open to asking questions, regardless of how trivial they may seem, are qualities that we admire. Being highly organized, finding satisfaction in completing checklists, and prioritizing meaningful and enjoyable work experiences are traits we are looking for in the ideal candidate.Moreover, familiarity with tools like Notion, Google Workspace, and Discord is preferred.
