Team Overview:

This pivotal role focuses on being a subject matter expert in Workday and driving continuous improvement within our People processes. The primary responsibilities include leading and guiding conversations on Workday functionality, collaborating with the People Experience team and other Centers of Excellence (COEs), and actively participating in projects aimed at automating, improving, and finding efficiencies in People processes. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about leveraging technology and process optimization to enhance the employee experience and organizational effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Workday Expertise: Serve as the primary contact for providing expert Workday guidance and support to stakeholders. Stay updated on Workday releases, enhancements, and best practices. Collaborate with IT teams to troubleshoot and resolve Workday system issues, ensuring minimal disruption to People operations. Work with IT to plan, manage, and coordinate activities impacting the People team, including sprint planning, testing, and changes in Workday.
  • Project Involvement: Participate in cross-functional projects related to Workday enhancements, system integrations, and process redesigns. Collaborate to ensure successful implementation of new functionalities and process improvements. Support change management efforts to drive user adoption and reduce resistance.
  • People Process & Continuous Improvement: Partner with the People Experience team and COEs to understand business needs and identify automation and process improvement opportunities. Lead discussions, analyze existing processes, and design future-state solutions. Use data analytics to monitor KPIs, identify trends, and support data-driven decision-making. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and collaboration. Facilitate training and regularly review feedback to optimize processes and enhance the employee experience.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 5-6 years of experience in People Operations, HRIS administration, or related roles, with a focus on Workday.
  • Strong understanding of Workday modules such as Core HCM, Compensation, Absence, Talent, and Advanced Reporting.
  • Proven experience in process improvement initiatives within People functions.
  • Analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Project management experience managing multiple priorities.
  • Workday certifications (preferred).
