About the Role

An individual contributor who plays a key role in shaping AIA's workforce by using data, research and analytical insights to help the businesses/organisation make informed decisions across the employee lifecycle. You will be responsible for overseeing the construction of data systems, models and dashboards to enable successful data analysis, reporting and budgeting.

  • Working closely with HR business partners/advisors and Centre of Excellence specialists to assess the organisation's human capital needs and identify opportunities to apply data analytics.
  • Defining problem statements and hypotheses to address identified opportunities, including analytical approaches, data and technology requirements.
  • Developing predictive models and performing statistical analyses to identify key areas of risk/opportunities across HR functions.
  • Using storytelling techniques to support decision-making on people issues.
  • Designing and implementing tracking and feedback mechanisms to allow for capturing of actions and the impact of data-driven decisions on business outcomes.
  • Continuously improve our workforce planning processes by incorporating best practices and stakeholder feedbacks.
  • Performing the generation of regular reports & performance dashboards, timely submission of regulatory reports/surveys, and leading the enterprise manpower annual budgeting exercise.

Requirements:
  • Track record of at least 5-8 years of hands-on experience with analytical tools and techniques. Proficient in data manipulation and analysis.
  • Possess relevant experience in an analytical function building and implementing various statistical models, working with large amounts of data and articulating problem statements/ business questions, data extraction and use of statistical approaches to arrive at an answer.
  • Programming experience in statistical software and/or other programming language.
  • Deep interest and aptitude in data, metrics, analysis and trends, and applied knowledge of statistics, measurements and model evaluation.
  • HR & Workday domain knowledge, and people analytics-related experience is required.
  • Attention to detail with strong execution focus and a clear communicator with the ability to articulate ideas with data.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • An independent self-starter who enjoys working in a dynamic environment and collaborating with HR/business stakeholders.
