Job summary

Canossaville Children and Community Services in Singapore is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to empower children with diverse developmental needs. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to support children’s functional abilities, independence and participation across daily environments.

Responsibilities include assessing and planning interventions, delivering evidence-based therapy, coaching families and educators, monitoring progress, and contributing to service development

Qualifications

• Diploma in Occupational Therapy from an accredited polytechnic or university.
• Full registration with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC), Singapore.
• Minimum 4 years of working experience with the paediatric population.

Responsibilities

• Assess and plan interventions: assess children’s functional abilities, identify areas for support, and develop individualised, measurable therapy goals.
• Deliver evidence-based therapy: provide individual and group interventions to support motor functions, adaptive skills, sensory integration and self-regulation.
• Empower families and educators: partner with parents, teachers and other professionals to share strategies, coach caregivers and help children apply their skills at home and in the classroom.
• Monitor progress and outcomes: evaluate children’s progress and adapt intervention plans to meet evolving needs.
• Contribute to service excellence: participate in programme evaluation, quality improvement initiatives and development of services across the Canossian Village.
