Job summary

The MindChamp Allied Care team in Singapore seeks an experienced Occupational Therapist to support children with diverse developmental needs. You will deliver individualized interventions and run group classes, focusing on handwriting and socialization.

You will build rapport with children, families and teachers, document progress, and collaborate with AHPC guidelines to ensure inclusive practice and high standards of care in a supportive clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Diploma, degree, or post-graduate qualification in occupational therapy from a recognized university.
• Registered and complies with the regulations under the Allied Health Professions Act 2011/ AHPC.
• Passionate about inclusionary practice and implementation of early intervention strategies.
• Possesses ability to build rapport and therapeutic relationships with the children and families.
• At least 3 years experience working with children would be preferable.
• Good interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assesses and provides individualized Occupational Therapy intervention for children with developmental challenges (e.g., Motor Coordination Disorder, Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD).
• Conducts group Occupational Therapy classes (e.g., handwriting and socialization).
• Establishes therapist-parent-teacher relationships with regular feedback and communication; provides updates after each session.
• Maintains relations with teachers and other professionals in the field.
• Updates parents regarding sessions and progress after each session (text/photos/videos).
• Updates case notes post-sessions regularly and independently.
• Keeps abreast of developments in Pediatric Occupational Therapy.
• Complies with AHPC regulations and guidelines.
