Job summary

National University Hospital in Singapore seeks a Junior Medical Technologist to deliver personalised patient services in the Lung Function, Allergy, and Sleep monitoring area. You will support clinicians, perform pulmonary function tests and related investigations, and ensure timely, accurate reporting.

You will supervise junior staff, maintain equipment, manage stock, and contribute to quality standards and service improvements across the lab.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Medical Science or Biotechnology is required.
• 2–3 years of related clinical service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Co-operate with doctors and healthcare providers to deliver services.
• Oversee daily lab operations and ensure procedures are performed accurately.
• Perform pulmonary function tests (spirometry, NIOX-ENO, spirometry variants) and allergy tests as requested.
• Monitor room utilisation and maintain lab equipment and inventories.
• Document results accurately and communicate to the doctor-in-charge for vetting.
• Coordinate urgent requests with departments/clinics/wards.
• Lead or supervise staff to deliver excellent patient care.
• Develop and evaluate quality standards for clinical procedures.
