PDI Quality Controller (Pre-Delivery Inspection)

Responsibilities:

• Observe and perform detailed investigation of new vehicle product problems in close cooperation with Workshop Executive & Technical support team.
• Compile quality issues report to update Workshop Executive to review it in-depth / find an immediate resolution.
• Assist PDI Executive in weekly toolbox meetings to update the safety information and technical issues encountered.
• Assist the Sales and Marketing Department in the preparation of the new car launch and press cars together with the retail operation.
• Responsible for the quality of service and Sales NPS target for new vehicle deliveries.
• Responsible for supporting test drive and new vehicles related matters when necessary.
• Responsible for conducting both in-progress and final quality check of vehicles.
• Responsible to collate / monitor the daily workshop carry forward vehicles.
• Ensure accessories fitment are carried out in line with Factory guideline with documents attachment.
• Responsible for the use, maintenance and proper condition of tools and workshop facilities.
• Responsible for safety, good order and tidiness in the workshop and the discipline of staff and vendors.
• Upkeep & maintain cleanliness / tidiness of the workshop areas and warranty parts storage room.
• Assist in other company’s requirement when directed and to work within the authority of a Workshop Foreman.
• Assist in scheduling PDI loading capacity planning to achieve Sales Monthly Registration targets.
• Monitor work in progress status to achieve the delivery promised date.
• Recommend areas of improvement where necessary.

Requirements:

• Minimum Nitec/Higher Nitec with minimum 5 year in executive/foreman level.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in supervisory role in vehicle workshop environment.
• Possess a valid Class 3 Singapore driving license.
• Eye on details and able to work in a team.
