Job description

Our Company, in the Automotive Industry located in the North East, has an opening for a PDI Admin Assistant.

  • 5.5 Days work week

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the creation of PDI Repair Orders (RO) to perform Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) on new vehicles.

  • Issue Purchase Orders (PO) with accurate costing and assign jobs to in-house contractors (sub-let jobs).

  • Supervise contractors to ensure quality completion of tasks.

  • Perform quality control (QC) checks on vehicles after PDI completion for quality assurance (QA) inspection.

  • Draw parts from the parts store to supply new vehicles.

  • Receive parts from suppliers and account for stock details.

  • Arrange transport companies for vehicle delivery to end users.

  • Maintain and upkeep work premises for daily operations.

  • Update vehicle stock count and track car movements in and out of the licensed warehouse.

  • Review and validate PDI RO/PO to consolidate final invoicing.

  • Inspect vehicles upon arrival at the PDI Centre.

  • Notify the Vehicle Admin Executive/Manager of any defects or missing items.

  • Support the Sales Department in preparing new cars for demo/display.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Manager/Executive on an ad-hoc basis.

Requirements:

  • Minimum O Level with 2 years of relevant experience in the automotive industry.

  • Possess a valid Class 3 driving license.

  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
