A leading company in Singapore is seeking a Payroll Manager to lead and manage the payroll process for all entities while ensuring compliance with local regulations. The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of experience in payroll, excellent analytical and communication skills, and be proficient in relevant payroll software. This role requires the ability to work independently under pressure and manage a high volume of payroll for numerous employees.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage in-house payroll process full cycle for all entities (including overseas).
Responsible for accurate and timely payroll computation and processing.
Perform timesheet calculations and liaise with the Operations on the attendance and leave matters.
Handle tax clearance, monthly CPF submission, annual income tax filing and the submission of government paid-leave claims, NS claims, etc.
Work closely with Finance on payroll closing, GL reporting and perform payroll reconciliations.
Attend to staff queries on payroll related matters.
Manage the annual manpower budget exercise, HR audit and prepare Group reporting.
Prepare monthly manpower costing, staff movement report and perform cost analysis for review.
Submit statutory report and survey to the authorities.
Review and streamline Payroll processes.
Manage ad-hoc HR related tasks, projects, system integration, etc.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Bachelor Degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent.
At least 8 years of working experience in Payroll with lead role.
Experience in handling overseas payroll experience is an added advantage (for Indonesia, Myanmar, Cambodia, Hong Kong, China and Malaysia).
Experience in handling high volume of payroll for multiple entities with more than 600 headcount.
Good payroll knowledge and well-versed in the Employment Act and HR practices.
Proficient in Times Software/Workday with Advanced MS Excel skills.
Excellent interpersonal, communications, supervisory and analytical skills.
Independent and able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Meticulous, fast learner and well organized.
Excellent multi-tasking skills to meet tight payroll deadlines for the Group.
