The Payroll Specialist is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, tax compliance, and addressing payroll-related inquiries. This role supports payroll reporting, tax filings, and collaborates closely with HR and Finance teams to maintain efficient payroll operations.
Payroll Administration & Compliance
Process employee compensation, benefits, and deductions accurately and on time.
Ensure compliance with payroll legislation, tax laws, and internal policies for both local and foreign staff.
Manage CPF contributions, NS make-up pay, government-paid leave, and other statutory payroll components.
Tax Filings & Reporting
Ensure accurate and timely submission of employee tax filings in line with local and international regulations.
Liaise with auditors, government agencies, and tax authorities when needed.
Grant & Leave Claims Management
Administer government grant and leave reimbursement claims, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
Align all claims with company policies and relevant government guidelines.
Internal Controls & Systems
Implement internal payroll controls to ensure accuracy and data integrity.
Conduct routine audits of payroll processes and records to maintain compliance and prevent errors.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; HR certification or Master’s degree preferred.
3 years of experience in HR, with at least 3 years specializing in payroll.
Strong knowledge of employment law, payroll compliance, and HR best practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
