Job description:

Key Responsibilities

  • Process payroll for new joiners, including verifying workflows and ensuring timely salary payments.
  • Handle payroll for resignations, including cessation processing, deductions, CPF calculations, tax clearance submissions, final payments, salary recovery letters, and sending salary statements.
  • Manage salary adjustments for existing staff, such as promotions and contract renewals.
  • Ensure accurate withholding and release of salaries as required.
  • Administer government-paid leave schemes, including maternity, paternity, shared parental, and childcare leave.
  • Manage NS Make-Up Pay claims.
  • Update allowances and deductions via Fast Entry transactions, including variable allowances like overtime and flexible staff earnings.
  • Provide backup support during absences and respond promptly to payroll queries.

Key Requirements

  • Minimum 1-2 years of payroll processing experience with understanding of the payroll cycle.
  • Familiarity with payroll software and proficiency in Excel.
  • Knowledge of Singapore Employment Act, CPF Act, and Income Tax Act.
  • Independent, proactive, and able to meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Strong numerical, analytical, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Experience handling high-volume data processing is preferred.
  • Integrity and confidentiality are essential.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
