A leading company in education is seeking a meticulous Payroll Executive to handle payroll operations. The successful candidate will manage payroll processing accurately and in compliance with Singapore employment regulations, ensuring confidentiality and the precision of financial records. This role demands a strong HR background and excellent communication skills, along with the ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
Overview
We are looking for a meticulous and experiencedPayroll Executiveto manage and execute payroll operations efficiently and accurately. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of payroll systems, Singapore employment regulations, and a commitment to confidentiality and precision.
Main Roles & Responsibilities
Process of monthly payroll by update and consolidate all payroll related information with relevant documents.
Responsible to maintain and update monthly payroll software database to facilitate and meet all key HR metrics.
Administer end-to-end monthly payroll processing for all employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with statutory requirements.
Check and ensure accuracy update of information in payroll software.
Collaborate with Assistant HR Manager for end-of-month payroll closing to reconcile the payout transaction discrepancies if any.
Responsible to monitor and submit of Government’s salary support grant with supporting document.
Ensure timely submission of IRAS IR21 and support year-end tax reporting including IR8A submissions.
Participate for MoM survey submission on quarterly basis through online.
Involve in annual audit of all relevant payroll and employee database.
Skill and knowledge requirements
Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in HRM / HRD / Business Administration.
Possess sound working knowledge of HRIS with an excellent grasp of Singapore labor laws.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and able to communicate with employees of all levels including ancillary staff.
Proven ability to work independently in a multi-tasking and fast paced environment, with strong work ethics and capacity for hard work.
A team player who enjoys interacting with people from all levels and with a “putting the customers’ first” mindset.
