Job summary

A leading company in Singapore seeks a Payroll Executive to ensure accurate payroll processing and compliance. Job Description

- Process payroll in accordance with the monthly cut-off date, ensuring payments are ready before the bank value date.

- Accommodate last-minute changes (e.g., resignations) without delaying overall processing timelines.

- Verify all payroll data thoroughly, ensuring accuracy and timely submission for Company’s verification and authorization at least 2 working days prior to the bank date.

- Prepare and finalize payroll-related documents, including payslips, interface files, accruals, payment vouchers, and statutory submissions.

- Respond within 24 hours to ad-hoc payroll run requests following Company’s notifications.

- Liaise with Company staff to clarify payment details, deductions, or other information as needed.

- Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for HRIS system changes before deployment.

- Verify data extracted from Time Tracking Systems and resolve discrepancies based on guidelines.

- Ensure 100% compliance with the exception list provided by Company and take necessary actions based on staff eligibility.

- Generate and deliver reports according to specified timelines, including standard and ad-hoc reports.

Job Requirements

- Minimum GCE ‘O’ Level

- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

- At least 3 years of experience in independent payroll processing, preferably in the Public Sector.

- Knowledge of Workday / Excelity systems is preferred.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.

- Ability to work on-site and respond promptly to ad-hoc requests.
