Payroll Assistant Manager ($6000 | Central West) #HJO
Job Description
Manage daily financial tasks and oversee month-end/year-end payroll account closures.
Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, including:
- Pre-payroll: update employee records and handle government claims.
- Payroll: process salaries, CPF contributions, and payments in compliance with statutory regulations (Employment Act, CPF, IRAS).
- Post-payroll: handle bonus provisions, financial closures, Form IR8A submission, and employee queries.
Guide and mentor the payroll team to ensure efficient operations.
Coordinate with auditors and tax agents on payroll matters.
Serve as the main point of contact for stakeholders, supporting business delivery readiness.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ working experience in a finance function or financial shared service center, preferably in a supervisory role.
- Prior exposure to Payroll processes and software in healthcare setting would be an advantage.
- Strong leadership skills with ability to manage team members.
