Job summary

A leading company in the semiconductor sector seeks a Payroll Administrator for a 12-month renewable contract. The role involves managing payroll processing, time and attendance records, and collaborating with HR teams to ensure accuracy in payroll and statutory contributions. Successful candidates will have a diploma and relevant experience in payroll, ideally proficient in SAP.

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years experience in handling payroll and tax preferable.
  • Experience in SAP and WorkDay system is a bonus.

Responsibilities

  • Process time and attendance records through the payroll system.
  • Manage payroll processing and handle off-cycle payroll timely.

Job description

Payroll Administrator (12 months Contract, Renewable)

Location: Woodlands

Mon to Fri, 830am to 6pm


The Role

  • Process Time and Attendance Records through the Payroll System
  • Capture, approve, transfer and evaluate time and attendance records
  • Verify time data for accuracy
  • Work with other HR function teams or contact supervisors to correct errors
  • Manage Payroll Processing
  • Handle off cycle and main run payroll processing timely and accurately
  • Prepare payroll reports and do reconciliation
  • Upload salary payment (both GIRO and cashier’s order requests) to the bank portal
  • Provide payroll output (payroll postings, fund requirements, month-end reports) to Treasury and Finance
  • Responsible for monthly submission of statutory contribution such as CPF
  • Manage the Exit Process
  • Capture, approve, transfer and evaluate time and attendance records of separating team members
  • Gather all information relating to the separation from other HR function teams
  • Process overtime and vacation leave payout for separating team members
  • Work with other HR function teams (eg Employee Relations, Customer Service) and Finance for team members who owe monies
  • Process Severance Payments for separated team members.
  • File IR21 tax clearance for foreign team members
  • Run team members’ final payroll timely.
  • Responding to team members’ queries via email/phone/ServiceNow according to SLA
  • Support in any adhoc projects or duties assigned.

The Person

  • Diploma and above
  • 1-3 years experience in handling payroll and tax preferably
  • Experience and knowledge in using SAP.
  • Experience in WorkDay system will be a bonus.
  • Excellent organization skills, problem solving skills, and has a keen eye for details
